The Public Theater: 2018-19 Season
This year’s identity was my favorite to work with because it always wanted to move, even when static. I really enjoyed the challenge of stretching certain letters of Knockout, adding imagery, and keeping it legible. The typography would expand and take up all the different dimensions needed throughout posters, signage, and motion graphics.
The Public Theater’s identity refreshes each year, beginning with Shakespeare in the Park and carried throughout main stage shows, Joe’s Pub, and community programs. It has been an honor to work with Creative Director, Paula Scher and an incredible team over 5 seasons from 2017–2021.
